Inspirational Blog Hop: Day 3 & announcement

For some CRAZY reason, I could not upload this to blogger to announce Anita joining my FabFour Design team. It was taking FOREVER and A DAY. Well, today is a new day...and it finally works!
Please welcome Anita Recksiedler to the Fabulous Four!
Yesterday she posted a beautiful card with the Deck The Halls set on her blog!
Thank you Anita for joining my personal design team! YAY!

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

The first set I am playing with today is City Of David (part of the Stamp TV kit). I LOVE this set! LOVE IT!  Here is my favorite card. I love the designer paper from the Merry Little Christmas pack.

Same stamp set (City of David) with some of those adorable images. I love the sentiment. I used copics to create the dawn scene....I imagine them walking across the cold desert....

Oh my gosh, this Holiday Tags set is so SUPER cute. I love this little penguin. I was attempting (for about 10 minutes) to take pictures of my cards. I must have a half dozen of the card flipping over...Thank you Sandy! This was the best I could do. I put the penguin on some stickle/ice...I love him!

Finally, a clean and simple card with the Merry Little Christmas set ALSO in the Stamp TV kit! TWO SETS? Wahooo! This one was so super simple. I stamped the holly berry twice - once directly on the card and once on a scrap piece and layered it on top. Super simple and clean, and I love the sentiment in chocolate brown!

Are you ready to see what the other ladies have in store for y'all?

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop: Deck The Halls, Simple Snowflakes & Mistletoe Memories

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of deeply etched, pre-cut Gina K. Designs stamps! To see the full list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

I love snowflakes and this set is so wonderful to work with! I stamped the snowflakes on the base card and kraft strip. I used some of Gina's new ribbon too! Love the ribbon!

Love Becky's new stamp set! The big bold sentiments are so perfect! I used the berry trio with versamark on the base, then used the sentiment on the red - love the bold black letters against the red! A hint of white and green with some Gina K. ribbon finish off the card.

The cards were difficult to photograph. It's getting dark and WINDY here in NY!  This is a simple card with the lights in greens and red. I added some stickles to the lights!

I used the branch from Stippled nature to hang the ornaments on this card. Every Christmas day, we go on a walk in the wooded park in our community. We hang ornaments (plastic, not glass) on the walking paths for people to enjoy! This reminds me of those family walks!
I created this simple card with some of the Merry Little Christmas pattern paper from the latest designer pack at Gina k. I used the snowflake ornament and deck the halls sentiment from Deck the Halls and a little ribbon which Gina is now carrying.

Be sure to stop by all the other design team member blogs to check out what they have created with this sets!

I really REALLY love this Vogue Vases stamp set. It is so easy to work with. I loved using the outlined vases on this CAS card, allowing me to color them in with copic markers. I used different shades of green for the vase fillers. I used a post it note, covered the vase and stamped the flower or leaves -- easy peasy!

I really enjoyed playing with Stately Flowers 5. I tried to keep it very simple and clean. I created a strip with the smaller floral image on Gina K white cardstock. I also used a strip of gina k designer paper. I love the Laura Ingalls quote!

Be sure to check out the inspiring creations from these other talented ladies:

My latest stamp set is called Deck The Halls. It combines some great fonts and holiday images which are sure to be used over & over on your card and scrapbook projects.

Here is the first card which I made with Deck the Halls, now available at Gina K. Designs. I used some buttons from my bucket of buttons. Ocean Mist base with a hint of cherry red!

Show Me The Stamps: October Style

Welcome to this month's blog hop!! Today, Tami Mayberry and I will be showing off some of our latest creations with sets which we designed for Gina K. Designs.

This monthly hop, which will be the second Tuesday of each month, will feature not only some of our newest stamp sets available through Gina K Designs, but also occasional prizes, sneak peeks and other surprise you won't want to miss so be sure and mark your calendars!

These six projects are sure to get you thinking outside the box when you are crafting. Our personal design teams will also be showing some of their creations as well...so grab a cuppa and get comfy!

This is my first creation...I call it my facebook cuppa joe! I combined Becky's coffee cup, Tami's thumbs up (which reminds me of the facebook "like" icon) and my sentiment from Wicked!
I used copics to color the coffee cup and create the steam!

Here is a cute & simple gift for this time of year. I recycled an olive jar and added some yummy candy corn to the jar. I covered it with designer paper, some ribbon, ric rack, and a small tag with the owl and the "boo!" sentiment from Wicked!

I attached the tag with some bakers twine.
Here is a clean & simple card with the Wicked set! I also used the Wicked Web silhouette file. The smiley spider and a combined sentiment (Wicked & Boo) along with a button and some bakers twine complete this card.

The nugget project (yes, I finally got my supply replenished), features some copic colored avery address labels. Simply swipe your copics on the label. You don't need to go right to the edge, since you will be wrapping the label around the back of the nugget. I used the images from Wicked with black ink after I colored with the copics.

...simply peel the label and add them to the chocolate nuggets...
...put the wrapped nuggets in a clear plastic bag and tie on a tag...makes a great teacher's gift for this time of year!
Here is another fall card which I made this past weekend (on World Cardmaking Day!). Some designer paper and my favorite image from the set - Mr. Monster!  Such a simple layout using some scraps and buttons...

Finally, the Truth Is....coffee pocket card

 >>>TRUTH IS..... I love coffee<<<<

Wouldn't this be cute with a Starbucks gift card inside!

I made the coffee sleeve with kraft paper & colored the mug in with copics!

So that is my Show Me The Stamps Hop for this month!

Gina K Sept Inspiration Blog Hop: Primitive Blessings & Seasonal Labels

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a Gina K. Designs Grab Bag that could have anything from stamps to paper to embellishments! To see the list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

Today I am sharing a few cards which I made with Gina's sets. This first one is Primitive Blessings. The cows remind me of my Grandpa! He and his two brothers ran a dairy farm (Shopmyer Brother's Dairy Farm in Schenectady, NY). Eventually, the farm was sold to GE and that is where GE Research & Development is currently located! The three brothers all collected cows. When I saw this COW TRIO I just grinned. This would be something he would say...Whatever you are be a good one. Actually, he would probably just say "Don't be stupid!" Ha ha! Love that man!

This next card is also made with Primitive Blessings. I used the Blessings sentiment and the background from Becky's set. I colored the tree with copics after I stamped. I love copics.

remember when rick rack was all the rage? Yeah. I had some lying around, so I figured, why not...

Finally, here is a sample from Seasonal Labels. I used some of Gina's designer paper to create this one!

I used some brads on the sides of the main image. I love brads...

That is it from me....
