Gina K. Sept Inspiration Hop - Take Note, Wicked & You Say 'Ello

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a Gina K. Designs Grab Bag that could have anything from stamps to paper to embellishments! To see the list of winners check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a couple of days after the hops!!

First up is Tami's Take Note set! It is really a versatile set which can be used for the ever popular Project Life stuff which is ALL THE RAGE! Today I made a love note for Todd. As much as he gets frustrated with the stamping -- he LOVES getting cards!  I used a heart punch to tell him I <3 him....
This is a great tween/teen set too - they can make little notebooks for friends...start their own memory lists or top ten lists!
The green grass and the turquoise sea seem to really go well together. The bamboo ink with the teal zeal mesh well too! A couple of buttons and a top edge punch keep this very simple & clean!

Here are my samples from Becky's new set "You say Goodbye, I say 'Ello!" I had to work with the french bread! He is so dang cute. Don't you want to rip off a piece and dunk him in some fondue!?! I used a 4.25 square card base and added some designer paper from the Poppy Prints collection. The images are easily cut out with the coordinating silhouette cut file. I colored the bread in with copics and even stamped the background pattern on the cut file and just attached that as well. The beret is glittered with a spica gitter pen. Such a fun set!

I had some of the remaining cut files for the set on my desk and was stamping and coloring in images. My daughter came running out with the coffee cups squealing with delight. "LOOK AT HOW CUTE!" she screamed....Make these into a card! Here is that creation for my latte-loving-soon-to-be-fifteen year old. I used the spica gel pens on the cups to give them a little more character and bling.

My set "Wicked" has some really fun images. I will be sharing more of the fun images this week (I went to go make treats and realized that the 7 year old had discovered the Hershey's Nuggets in my office, so they were ALL GONE. Gasp! Almost a whole bag! Sophie G....she keeps me on my toes!)...I digress...

I turned to creating just a card for today...I used a kraft base, some fun designer paper from the Hello Sunshine pack and some die cuts with my silhouette. I love the stamped candelabra on this with the sentiment over the top! I cannot wait to get this in the mail to someone special!

Finally, the coffin with the web attached.  The web cut file is available {here} for less than $1. It goes so well with this stamp set!  I created a coffin box (which I was going to fill up with nuggets...but THANKS TO SOPHIE...It's EMPTY! I created a quick tag with the bat and Boo! sentiment from the set. The coffin is created with some black card stock, spritzed with pearl glimmer mist. It sparkles....a May arts ribbon is tied around to keep the coffin tag in place!

I will get to the store to get more nuggets this week...and then I will share more ideas from the wicked set! The monster is one of my most favorite images....and I have yet to create with it!

 So check back often!
