Here is my birthday card for Gina K! Happy 29th birthday Gina! A true lady never tells her age! :)
This card was made with an ivory base and I used some custom cut files in my silhouette for the layers. Some new Gina K. buttons from the red hot mix give it a pop of color! There are stickles all over the 29, which was also custom cut with the silhouette! The background was created with versamark on turquoise sea card stock and the ladybug "bodies".
It would not be a birthday celebration without a present and a blog hop (well, it would be, but where is the fun in that?)
It's a Hip-Hop Happy Birthday Celebration with Gina K's design and illustration team!
Not only are you getting some serious eye candy (which is just as sweet as birthday cake) -- you can win a present too!
Simply leave a comment with your favorite birthday memory, I will put you in the running for some blog candy -- a copy of Lovely Ladybugs!

Super cool! What a coincidence. I'm 29, too!
ReplyDeleteBest Birthday Memory was a few years ago when I turned 50. My kids gave me a surprise birthday dinner and party. I had never had a surprise party before and had a great time surrounded by my kids and grandkids.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite birthday memory is that my 1st birthday as mother was mother's day in England which is where we were living at the time. I always tease my husband that he planned it that way to get away with one present!

ReplyDeleteGreat card for Gina...pretty, like she is! My favorite memory is my 50th Birthday party put on by my two girls. It was at a local restaurant with a band and buffet. Laughed and danced all night!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I remember my 30th birthday cause no one ever believes a woman is 29! and how liberating it was to truly be a woman.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the birthday blog hop for a wonderful lady. Very nice card! On my 50th birthday my family planned a surprise party and the guests that were invited brought a gift of 50 something, example: 50 envelopes, 50 pennies etc. It was a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Blog Hop! If I had to chose my favorite B-day celebration it would probably be the year that I went up Michigan to meet my hubby's family for the very first time. He gave me my present in front of everyone and it was a
ReplyDeletePrecious Moments figurine of a little boy on his knees proposing to a little girl with a puppy dog sitting next to them.... and the ring was on the puppy dogs nose! It was special!
Cute, Beth!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card, she's going to LOL! I guess the one I remember most is my 4th birthday. We used to have simple birthdays back then, just a homemade cake from mom and a few little gifts. I got a toy iron that year that I was absolutely thrilled with! Just like mom's!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite color combos, Beth -- I love the sparkly 29! BTW, that's how old I'll be this year, too! ;-)
