When I designed this set - I wanted something that would make for quick and easy cards. Something that you can reach for time & again to create unique, yet beautiful cards.

Here is my first card. The sentiment looks like money to me! Ha! That is why I stamped it in pine green!

A scrap of designer paper and a dressed up ribbon pair so nice with this sentiment. The possibilities are endless, don't you think? Kids may actually want to make their own cards! No fuss!

The small elements can combine for some simple cards! The fleur de lis is my daughter's favorite!  Pair it with Merci for a card that is très chic!

Sometimes you just need a card with no sentiment. The elements in this set allow your to combine pretty things to create classy cards!

Spice up your holiday gifts with a little Celebration Diva! This wine topper was simple to make and the Diva makes it perfect for that holiday party or New Years Eve celebration gift!

This clean and simple card is just the right thing to give for an anniversary!  Let's Celebrate sentiment paired with the adorable bottle with the heart...that will remind that special someone during the hustle and bustle of the season that you have to make some *couple* time!  Date night here we come!

I love the excitement and promise that the new year brings! Maybe a friend had a rough 2013 and needs a special note to know that you will be there for them in the coming year! The streamers and sentiment are from Celebration Diva and the 2014 is from Lots of Dots Alphabet!

I have a LOT to share! I'm starting off with Elegant Flourishes by Cammie!

This monochromatic card is so elegant! It's hard to see the 3 black gems next to the sentiment. Sentiment is from Lots of Lines

This second card uses the same set, plus the sentiment from Lots of Thanks! Kraft ink on kraft paper. Some copper gems give it some pop!

This color combo was unusual, but I wanted to try it! Honey Mustard, Black and Red Hot!  Sentiment is from Lots of Thanks.

Next I will share the Stamper's Favorites set by Melanie. I used the feather from her set with Honey Mustard ink, colored in a bit with copics. The background is stamped with Lots of Dots in versamark.

This white on kraft card was super simple, but the white gives the details of that beautiful feather. Sentiment is in chocolate. White strip is dry embossed with swiss dots.

The leaves from the set were stamped and colored with copics, and then some Prima flowers were added. Sentiment is from Lots of Thanks.

I call this faux stained glass. I stamped the butterfly in black, then colored it in with random copic markers to mirror the strip of designer paper.

I am starting by showing Becky's adorable It's The Little Things setThe first card is a 4.25 square card which I stamped with circles from Lots of Lines and small circles from Lots of Thanks. I stamped the sentiment and hedgehog from Becky's set in black in. Super simple!

If you have not heard the "What does the fox say?" song yet, you have probably been hiding under a rock (next to the fox).  This is just a fun card - sentiment is typed on computer

This is a card for my friend who had a baby girl last month!  The elephant is so fun to color in.

Theresa's Vertical Greetings combines some pretty images with some fun sentiments. I used the leaf bunch with a sentiment from Lots of Thanks to make this simple card.

This is a card I created using copics in various hues of blue. I stamped the poppies in white and colored in the edges with blue.

I have been seeing these crazy angle layer cards all over pinterest. Here is my version using Theresa's sentiment & dragonfly, along with dots from Lots of Dots.

I tried to keep it simple with this set - to allow for some clean & simple card designs! I was on a pink/black kick!

I had a ton of punched out stars from Karen's birthday cards, so I stamped the star from Lots of Lines in pink on the scrapped star. I used the "I love it!" sentiment from Lots of Thanks.  Very simple!  Endless possibilities with color combinations!

This card was simple and customizable for my needs.  I stamped the Thank You in pink, the rest in black and simply took a pink marker and checked off the boxes.  The card is now perfect for a friend who was there for me!

Stop by next week to see more samples, but for now - check out these fabulous blogs!

I am always looking for that perfect stamp to make thank you notes! I am constantly making thank you notes for the kids. I try my best to make them send out a thank you note before they actually use the gift. From now on, this set is going to be my GO-TO thank you note set! It has some fun details in it which will allow you to make "cool" thank you notes for teens/tweens and elegant thank you notes for yourself.

Birthday Thank You Notes

I can hardly believe it is November!  October flew by and there were many birthday parties (we have so many October birthdays in our house).  Victoria even had a group of her very best friends throw her a surprise party, so I spent yesterday creating special thank you notes for her to give to those friends.  Victoria is a green girl, so I used some green card stock with some custom silhouette files. The clean & simple card also features a stamp from Lots of Lines and Gina K's new white ink.  I had a stash of this beautiful, wide, white satin ribbon, which was simply tied in a knot and tucked behind the green layer. I tried to keep it as simple as possible since I had to make 20!

Next week I am tackling the 50 sweet 16 thank you cards which I have to make for Karen's friends!  Slow Down November!

Moxie Fab Blog Hop: Thank You Cath!

My bff Debbie shared this lovely Blog Hop challenge with me and, like Voldemort is to Harry Potter, I will never back down from a challenge! Watch me wave my magic wand!

Cath: AKA Moxie Fab is such a vital part of the paper craft industry! Sadly, the Legend has left the building!  She will be missed!

I used a Gina K. white card stock base and added some powder blue on top, with a fancy cut edge from the silhouette machine.  I punched a star and stamped the star in powder blue with the star from Lots of Lines. "Many Thanks" sentiment in white Gina K. ink.  The white satin ribbon is tied in a simple knot and adhered behind the powder blue layer. I used some blue dew drops to the bottom of the card and then some stickles atop the star!

A little bling and many thanks to Cath for her years of cheering everyone on in the stamping and scrapping community! Bon Voyage!

Gina K / Faber-Castell Blog Hop Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of the Gina K. Designs/Faber-Castell Blog Hop!  We've got another incredible day of inspiration for you, so lets get started! Don't forget to keep those comments coming to enter to win a Gina K. Designs stamp set of your choice (up to a $24.95 value)

Pop over to the Faber-Castell Blog and leave a comment for a chance to win a Designing With Gelatos Kit, too!

So I looked at the package of Faber-Castell 50's Diner gelatos and I had to decide how I could tackle this latest designing hurdle:  figure out how to use these products and then make something that will not be totally embarrassing! I watched a few Youtube videos and decided that it was going to be simple!  I took a piece of Gina K. white card stock and punched out the snowflakes.  I colored with the Aqua Dolce gelato and then smeared it with my fingers. It was like a hazy misty sleet background! Not Bad. I kind of like it!  I adhered it with foam squares on top of the kraft, with small pieces of white behind the main image.  I covered the negative images with stickles and stamped "celebrate" from Lots of Lines in black ink.  A few dew drops and I was pretty happy with the result!  What do you think?

Here was the hop order (just don't want you to miss any of the "Fab"er-Castell projects (get it FAB!)

Gina K. October Release Inspiration Hop: Day 2 (Fleece Navibaa and Cheers)

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Let's see what we have in store today.

I really enjoy the holidays, but I am not ready for them quite yet.  Took me a little while to get in the holiday card zone.  I think that Debbie's Fleece Navibaa did just that - made me holiday happy! Look at this little sheep! Ewe are so adorable! I used a CAS layout to create this one:

Here is a cute, yet simple tag idea which is easily replicable (well, maybe not for the amount of Tags I need for the holidays)
I used the Happy holidays sentiment and Just for Ewe! Ha! That sheep cracks me up!

I had some grey card stock on my craft table (shocker - it's still not clean) and I paired it with some of this polka dot designer paper (also in the pile of crap on my desk).  Found the button stuck to the bottom of a bottle of glue, so I slapped that bad boy to the card! Probably left over from another project, because it was already sportin the bakers twine!  Do you ever do that - start a project and put an element aside and lose that little bugger?  I do it all the time!

Finally, I used some leftover designer paper from a previous project (also on the desk, which is still not clean because I am doing this blog post). To me, those white dots look like bubbles going up in a champagne glass - so it made perfect sense in my brain to pair it with *this* stamp!  Cheers!  I think I need a drink!

I need to go clean my desk!

While I am doing that, why don't you take a gander at what the other design team members have in store!

Gina K. Designs October Release Inspiration Hop (Day 1)

Here are the super cute stamps that come with the kit! I {love} the awesome sentiments! And there are SO many images to choose from!

This nested snowflake is awesome - it's like a 3 in one stamp!

Here are the cards I made with the kit:
This first card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest, where they used the bakers twine to hold up a stocking. I thought it was a great use for the bakers twine, so I tried something similar with this elegant ornament.  I love the details of the ornament.  I am a sucker for snowflakes! The Gina. K cranberry ink is very rich and pairs nicely with the ivory card stock.
inspired by an Amy Wanford card I saw on pinterest

This second card allowed me to try out the new Gina K. white ink. It is so thick and fabulous and just clings to the card stock like a monkey to a banana tree! The sentiments in this set are so beautiful! I love the elegant script!
Love the white ink by Gina K. - it's fab!
I am a paper hoarder. I have a hard time using the designer paper because I keep thinking - what if I need it later.  Don't put off to tomorrow people! Cut that paper!  This card could easily be mass produced and you can get several banners out of one piece of Gina K. paper.  It is so easy to match up the papers with the fabulous new ink colors.
a trio of new inks with the beautiful new papers in the Stamp TV. kit

I hope you enjoyed these samples! Now you must go check out all the amazing designs and inspiration with my fellow design team members:
