Gina K. Designs Illustrators February 2014 Blog Hop

You're Invited!!

Tonight is the night! We are all so excited to party with you from 7:00- 9:00 PM Central Time in our forum at StampTV.com! All of the fun starts right here:

 I made this valentine with my new stamp set Lots of Washi.

I stamped the circle strip with versamark on the 2.5 x 3.5 artist trading card size piece of card stock.  I printed the sentiment on white card stock and added some hearts with Becky's new Folk Filigree set.


These are mini whoopee cushions - the perfect valentine gift for a

  4th grade boy to give out to his classmates! A shout out to Heather Courtney who shared a Pinterest link about whoopee valentines! Thanks my crafty friend!

Here is a card which I created faux washi tape strips using Lots of Washi & Lots of Dots. The sentiment is from Signs of Spring by Theresa Momber. The frame is from Lots of Dots Alphabet. A few sequins adorn the card to give it some sparkle!



Finally, here is a card which I created with Lots Of Washi and Lots of Thanks.  It uses custom bakers twine.  I made a video showing the process of creating this card.  Hope you like it!

    Great new set. I haven't gotten into Washi Tape yet but I like the look. This set would give the look without the expense of the tape. Thanks for the great tutorial and the tip about coloring baker's twine.

    I have not been a big fan of washi tape but I love the stamp that you used for this card. I like the colors you used also. Great tip on bakers twine. You could save a lot of space in your craft room and make your own colors as needed.

    I know the boys will love the Valentine - not so sure about the teachers and parents, though. The card is beautiful and since it appeared the button was sewn on I was curious to find out how you finished the backside....silly me! I hadn't thought of simply adhering the embellishment on! Thanks for the tutorial.

    I am very excited to see the new Washi tape set in full detail. I don't own any tape much except for a couple of rolls that I got from Japan but they are pretty limiting. I can see where making faux ones would be awesome. Also thanks for the tip on the faux twine tip too.
