June Inspiration Blog Hop: Day One (Fabulous Frames & Let's Talk)

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina, along with the Cast and Crew and Guest Designers, will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

First - my creations with Melanie's set - the butterflies with white ink are so incredible!
I also created this kraft card with green ink and filled in the wings with spectrum noir markers and a white pen.
This card combines both sets - the butterfly from Melanie's Fabulous Frames and the sentiment from Debbie's Let's Talk. A strip of the Ang & Me paper gives it some nice contrast and the butterfly is colored with a white pen.

Debbie's set was fun to play with too! This clean and simple card highlights the colors in the Ang & Me designer paper (which is awesome).
I love this card - it was so fun to make with the tomato soup, green and ocean mist colors!
This last one was made for Todd's co-worker's 50th birthday! It features the cupcake from my Keep Calm set, along with Debbie's Let's Talk and the 50 is from Lots of Dots Alphabet

First - you have to check out the other blogs - but promise you will stop by tomorrow to see all the samples I have with my set!

Gina K. Designs Blog Hop: Just a note!

Today is the last day of the Gina K. Designs blog hop for the month! What a fun release this has been.  Today we are featuring Just A Note by Rupa Shevde.

This first card is super easy to create, but what a great sentiment! I used innocent for the image and black for the sentiment. What a great card to send to a friend who might need a pick-me-up!

This next card uses the envelope from Just a note and the sentiment. I colored the envelope with copics.

This final card features the guitar from the set, along with the hexagon images from Lots of Washi, along with the 8 and rocks from Lots of Dots Alphabet.  Super fun card which I made for Debbie's daughter, Molly!
Check out all the amazing designs and inspiration with these sets:

I made this valentine with my new stamp set Lots of Washi.

I stamped the circle strip with versamark on the 2.5 x 3.5 artist trading card size piece of card stock.  I printed the sentiment on white card stock and added some hearts with Becky's new Folk Filigree set.

These are mini whoopee cushions - the perfect valentine gift for a

4th grade boy to give out to his classmates! A shout out to Heather Courtney who shared a Pinterest link about whoopee valentines! Thanks my crafty friend!

Here is a card which I created faux washi tape strips using Lots of Washi & Lots of Dots. The sentiment is from Signs of Spring by Theresa Momber. The frame is from Lots of Dots Alphabet. A few sequins adorn the card to give it some sparkle!

Finally, here is a card which I created with Lots Of Washi and Lots of ThanksIt uses custom bakers twine.  I made a video showing the process of creating this card.  Hope you like it!

I cannot wait to share more of the ideas with you next week during our design team hop! See you tonight at the release party!

When I designed this set - I wanted something that would make for quick and easy cards. Something that you can reach for time & again to create unique, yet beautiful cards.

Here is my first card. The sentiment looks like money to me! Ha! That is why I stamped it in pine green!

A scrap of designer paper and a dressed up ribbon pair so nice with this sentiment. The possibilities are endless, don't you think? Kids may actually want to make their own cards! No fuss!

The small elements can combine for some simple cards! The fleur de lis is my daughter's favorite!  Pair it with Merci for a card that is très chic!

Sometimes you just need a card with no sentiment. The elements in this set allow your to combine pretty things to create classy cards!

Spice up your holiday gifts with a little Celebration Diva! This wine topper was simple to make and the Diva makes it perfect for that holiday party or New Years Eve celebration gift!

This clean and simple card is just the right thing to give for an anniversary!  Let's Celebrate sentiment paired with the adorable bottle with the heart...that will remind that special someone during the hustle and bustle of the season that you have to make some *couple* time!  Date night here we come!

I love the excitement and promise that the new year brings! Maybe a friend had a rough 2013 and needs a special note to know that you will be there for them in the coming year! The streamers and sentiment are from Celebration Diva and the 2014 is from Lots of Dots Alphabet!

Lots of Dots Alphabet Graduation Card

It was super easy to customize this graduation card with school colors.  I used christmas pine card base and then stamped the sentiment using Lots of Dots Alphabet
using northern pine ink.

What were your school colors? We were silver & red (the Silver Warriors of Niskayuna).  My kids are white and green (Plainsmen).

Who doesn't think this would be a great card for someone who is constantly on Facebook?!?! It uses Becky's woodgrain background along with the "like-thumbs up" and letters from Lots of Dots.

I used the & from Becky's set, along with the letters from Lots of Dots in the wedding colors -- to create this simple wedding card!

Now on to the Diva's!

Using this set makes me want to go back to Hawaii and eat mango!

This "tag" card was super easy to make using the smaller images from the set! Wouldn't this be cute to give to someone heading to Hawaii for vacation...or someone moving away!

I used the sentiment and iron along with the frame from Lots of dots to create this CAS card!

I found humor placing the wrinkled ribbon under the sentiment "Thanks for helping me iron it out!"

I don't run. If you see me running
call the police (or animal control, because there is probably an alligator on the back of a shark on the back of a bear...which is chasing me) and start running yourself!

So many of my friends run -- and I think this would be a great thing to give to them the day before the big race (along with a basket of treats to devour after the 5K or marathon)The frame from Lots of Dots alphabet makes a cute tag!

Gina K. Designs Blog Hop: Up, Up & Away and Lots Of Dots Alphabet

Today I am featuring Theresa's Up, Up & Away set, along with my Alphabet set!

First up, a graduation card which I made with our school colors! Super easy! You can customize your card with school colors and embellish with ribbons and layers! The possibilities are endless!

YOLO!  Great card to stuff a $20 and give to a college student heading off for their first year of classes! Put a note inside saying "For emergencies....don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

Valentines could be super easy with the alphabet set.  It's easy to mass produce these CAS one layer cards!

Teen Text-speak is the norm now -- so creating a fun birthday card for the teen in your life is super easy with the Lots of Dots alphabet set.  Embellish with a button and this monochrome look is super clean and fun!  I used lots of dots circles on the background!

Theresa's set has some great sentiments in it which are great (and interchangeable) for birthday's, graduation, etc...
This card uses some Gina K. designer paper along with a fun layout to focus on the sentiment!
The delicate image from Theresa's set (along with a sentiment from her previous set) made for a super easy "thinking of you" card!  I also added the & from the Lots of dots alphabet to give it a touch of whimsey!
I am getting to that stage in life where I am attending more graduations than weddings -- my kids friends are growing up fast too! I used the school colors along with the sentiment from Theresa's set (and the numbers from Tami's set) to create this grad card.

Gina K. Designs July Release Party Roundup!

In case you were unable to attend the release party last night at StampTV, I am posting the cards which were shown by Gina (I was at a swim meet with the kids until 9:45 pm).  Here are the cards, in no particular order:

this card uses Becky's wood grain background and my new polka dot alphabet lower

Debbie's Marathon Diva set! So fun...this woman clearly has a bear chasing her!

The biggest joke in my house is that I actually have no idea how old I am because I have been 29 for so long.  This uses Tami & Theresa's newest sets!

I used some of Gina's designer paper along with Melanie's newest Stately Flowers 7 set

Close up of the sentiment

Wedding card I made for Debbie's brother & his new wife using Tami's new set, along with Mr&Mrs Diva sentiment and rings (from last May's release)
