Gina K. Designs Share the Love with Foil-Mates Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Gina K. Designs Share the Love with Foil Mates Blog Hop!  I love using foil mates - my KIDS love watching the papers transform into such beautiful bling - they swipe the cards from my hands before the adhesive is even dry!  This one is super cute but SO hard to photograph!  I tried a few angles so you can see how truly spectacular the shine is!

I used some pinks and blacks together to create this card.  It may be a nice card to slip in Todd's backpack for when he travels - which has been a TON lately! It's always nice to feel loved!

Do you have any fun Valentine Traditions? I usually give each of the kids something special - and this year, I even hired my friend Heather (who puts together gift boxes) to create an extra special something for my daughter, Karen who is away at college.  She needs to feel the love too! This year Todd and I are celebrating with my favorite musician - Elton John - in Las Vegas!  This year I hope we don't get stranded in Vegas!

Have a super day and a wonderful Valentine's Day
and now hop on over to the next blog!

Stop by each of the blogs below, give them some Valentine's love and you could be entered for a prize from Gina K. Designs!  There will be one $50 gift certificates chosen from the comments on ALL the blog posts! So hop over to ALL the blogs and leave some love! That will buy a lot of Foil-Mates!

Gina K Designs – October Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 3

October 2016 – Ian Moose and Claire’s sets
Inspiration Blog Hop - Day Three

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new Home for the Holidays StampTV Kit and a number of gorgeous stamp sets by our illustrator team! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!

Today, we are featuring Beth Silaika’s new “Ian Moose” stamp set and Claire Brennan’s new stamp sets: Nordic Winter, ‘Tis the Season, Festive Foliage and Compliments of the Season. Beth’s set, “Ian Moose” is the most adorable moose with cute accompanying images and fun sentiments! Claire’s stamp sets are the best in classic and traditional stamps celebrating this holiday season!

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

The first card with Claire's set is from Nordic Winter

Clean & Simple all the way!

This next card was exactly what I saw when I first saw the set - a 1980's winter sweater that I wore to a retreat in the Adirondacks with my church's youth Group. Stamped image and then trimmed out the v neck collar and added the collar detail. Buttons finish the design!

This uses those beautiful fonts from 'Tis the Season

Faint images of snowflakes in the watercolored area (from the incentive set)

The pretty fonts pair so nicely with the designer paper which Gina is releasing this month!

Are you ready for Ian? He was named after my sister's son (who turns two this week)!  They have a mutual love of moose and the Adirondacks!

I wanted to show that Ian can also be used for love notes or valentines!

The moose antics continue with other images in the set - these cardinals love to stir up fun!

I made this simple tag with a strip of the designer paper from Gina's set and some fun coloring!

I made sure that Ian was dressed warm - he has ear muffs and can even be dressed in an ugly sweater for the holidays!

Here is a card made with the Holly Jolly Incentive set!

This is also made with the Holly Jolly incentive set - pairs so well with the designer paper from this month's Gina K. release!

Gina K. Blog Hop: Introducing Stately Flowers 8, Lots of Washi

Today I am featuring this month's stamp sets which includes Melanie's Stately Flowers 8 and my Lots of Washi

The first card features the beautiful sentiment from Melanie's set.  I love this verse!  I stamped it in black, and then added a band using Lots Of Washi.
The iris is one of my favorite flowers. I stamped it it black and used a watercolor pen and Gina K. inks. The sentiment is also from her set.
This card features the conjoined circles and a sentiment from Stippled Nature. Super simple and clean.

This card features Lots of Dots & Lots of Washi. I stamped the dots and sentiment from Stately Flowers in grey ink and the conjoined circle layers in sweet corn. I used a button and some custom bakers twine on the ribbon.

This card features the sentiment from Lovely Ladybugs. The pink passion banner features a stamp from Lots of Washi.

I made this valentine with my new stamp set Lots of Washi.

I stamped the circle strip with versamark on the 2.5 x 3.5 artist trading card size piece of card stock.  I printed the sentiment on white card stock and added some hearts with Becky's new Folk Filigree set.

These are mini whoopee cushions - the perfect valentine gift for a

4th grade boy to give out to his classmates! A shout out to Heather Courtney who shared a Pinterest link about whoopee valentines! Thanks my crafty friend!

Here is a card which I created faux washi tape strips using Lots of Washi & Lots of Dots. The sentiment is from Signs of Spring by Theresa Momber. The frame is from Lots of Dots Alphabet. A few sequins adorn the card to give it some sparkle!

Finally, here is a card which I created with Lots Of Washi and Lots of ThanksIt uses custom bakers twine.  I made a video showing the process of creating this card.  Hope you like it!

I cannot wait to share more of the ideas with you next week during our design team hop! See you tonight at the release party!

To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Here is a peek at the kit!

I really enjoy playing with new stamps and bringing them into my craft room to see what I can create. The first card was created with the berry bunch using Gina K. using passionate pink. The sentiment from the same set is done in black ink. Super simple and clean.  I find myself using clean and simple layouts much more these days, how about you?

This next card was super simple too - using turquoise sea and grass green inks. Simple layout using a grass green card base with an offset layer of white.  A few sequins to kick the par-tay up a notch!

I already had the turquoise sea and grass green inks out on my desk, so I combined them with sweet corn and a hint of black (using the Gina K. gingham ribbon) to make this soothing card, which can be a sympathy card or a get well card.

finally, here is a cute little valentine which I made using the kit! The adorable birds look so cute sitting on that branch!  It was literally a 2 minute card. Kraft base, pink passion and dark chocolate inks. This would be so easy to create using the other sentiment for an anniversary!

Gina K. Designs Illustrator Hop: Mix & Match

The Gina K Designs illustrators are hopping today to share some fun ways to combine the new release stamp sets. Hope you will join us as we Mix and Match!

Today, I am Mixing and Matching my Lovely Ladybug set with Tami Mayberry's Simple Hearts stamp set!

I combined innocent pink, cherry red & dark sage inks from Gina K's new color companions collection!

This sweet & simple card was easy to make with a layer of 4 x 5.25 kraft atop a kraft A2 card base. I rounded one corner and added a pink gem to the center of one of the images. The sentiment is from Lovely Ladybug, stamped in memento black!
