Hip! Hip! Hooray! It's Inspirational Blog Hop Day!

Here is a card I made with both Mel's set and mine. I used her set for the background with some versamark ink. The Hippo image was stamped in black and colored with spectrum noir markers. The 100 on the balloon is from my this & that set. I made this for the swim coach who just had a milestone record win for the boy's team.

This card uses the santa hat from the Stamp TV kit. I stamped the hat (from the owls) and trimmed it up and then colored it. The holidays sentiment is from the kit too.

I dug deep in my stash of Gina K. Designer papers for the next few cards. This first one uses the designer paper for the background. It's so bright and festive. Perfect for a birthday card!

This next one uses the paper from the poppy prints pack. Simply stamp the images on the designer paper and trim.

This one uses the paper from the same pack, but look at how cute the hippo is in plaid!

This card has hearts in various sizes from the this & that set. I stamped them in versamark on the ocean mist background.

Full watercolored background with the cake and candle image along with the wish big sentiment!

Mel's Twine Time set is great for all you sew fanatics out there!

This is literally me this month - tied up cutting paper and misplacing the scissors and tape while wrapping!

This is a fun thank you card using some watercoloring and sequins!

Sparkling Christmas StampTV kit Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop with Gina K's Design Team! This blog hop is for the brand spanking new StampTV Kit, Sparkling Christmas. The colors in this kit include: edible eggplant, fresh asparagus, prickly pear, cherry red, lovely lavender and white! There are some great designer paper options and the super fun snowflake dies!

Here are the Monthly Incentive Stamps!

Today, Gina, along with the Cast and Crew, will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a  random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

Card 1:
Would you like to see some of those "Incentives" in action? I used the 3D foam snowflakes and Snowflake sequins along with a sparkle button from my collection on this first card. Simply place the foam snowflake on your card and add any other embellishment you want (I added a light blue sparkle button to the center of the snowflake). Then you simply sprinkle it with glitter. I stamped the sentiment from the kit in white and added more glitter (the white ink grabs the glitter!) The base is edible eggplant!

Card 2:
The great thing about the kit is you have the perfect base colors to get paired with the designer paper.  I used the tree paper along with the fresh asparagus and cherry red.  I used white ink on the punched circle!

Card 3:
The next two cards are done with white and kraft. This first one has a splash of red, which just POPS! I stamped the tree images along the bottom, then took a wet watercolor brush (almost drippy wet) and picked up the white color left on the stamp.  A couple of flicks of the brush and it created a nice snow effect. I doused the wet white ink trees and droplets with glitter.  I stamped the sentiment on white with cherry red ink. (little secret, I tried to stamp it right on the card, but it smeared when the ink hit the glitter. instead of tossing the card, I simply added a small white sentiment block. YES~! Card saved!). I love the hint of red in the bakers twine!

Card 4:
When you have another half of the card cut, why not make another white and kraft card. I wanted to make a blizzard background. There are a few cute snowflakes in the kit, so I stamped them all over the background and then again, wet my watercolor brush and picked up the white from the stamps.  I flicked the water to create spots which really filled in the blank spaces. A sprinkle of glitter and boom - blizzard effect! I stamped the sentiment in kraft ink on the white card stock. I used a piece of white velvet ric arc under the sentiment and then tied on a piece of rustic twine.

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! This blog hop is for  our September Release!  Boy, do we have some treats for you this month!  We hope to inspire you with some eye candy as you hop along in the hop this month!  Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies! !!   To see who won,  check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

I made these cards so long ago that I nearly forgot about them!

This is a kraft base with violet and green inks. I love the way the colors look on kraft!

this card uses the wild blossoms set for the background - white on the deep green card stock!

This first card is a watercolor pre-folded square card. I stamped the flower image in white ink, then embossed with a glitter embossing powder. I watercolored the card and tried to use some of the fall colors which you see this time of year.  The muted reds, oranges, yellows and greens. Then I added the sentiment from This and That.

This second card features the same flower (which I love) with white ink on the green base. I love the way the white pops off the green. A clean and simple card - switch out the sentiment and it is perfect for any occasion!

Inspiration Blog Hop: Day 2 (Simply the best & This and That)

rabbit rabbit rabbit!

HAPPY OCTOBER!

Today we are showing off cards with Simply the best and This and That.  This and That is my latest stamp set and I really love it! I hope you do too!

This card uses a sponged top half of the card! It reminds me of sitting out watching the Super Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse! Who else did that? Woohoo!

I love this card. So simple. Could be a great graduation card!

There is no birthday as anticipated as the the 21st. Don't you think? This has an dry embossed background and glitter window!

This sweet 16 card features the vine background from Theresa's set and the sentiment from This and That.

So this was the male version of the sweet 16 card. I had to make it for boy/girl twins.  I thought the stitching and the circle looked more lacrosse-ish (I know that is not a word) so this was the masculine version!

Who just needs a pick-me-up every once in a while? Line up these sentiments on your big lined stamp set and put the you in a different color to make it pop!

Here it is on blue card stock! Sometimes all you need is a note telling you that you are all these things to turn your day/week/month around!

This and That paired with some holiday lights from Deck the Halls

This card uses the image from Delicate Damask along with the sentiment from This and That.

Ocean mist base with black and turquoise sea inks.  While the fabulous was still wet, I sprinkled it with glitter embossing powder.

Close up: you can see the glitter fabulous!

I made this for Curt & Tim's wedding a few week's back.
what is nice, you can mix and match the sentiments to suit your needs, such as matching the wedding colors!

This card features Mel's Triple Play Holiday set with This and That. Some days I grab 4 colors of ink and just stamp a collage background. I cover it up with the sentiment strip and it looks so clean!

This card is so elegant I cannot even stand it! Someone better get married soon so I can use it! It uses Theresa's vine background - stamped in versamark and embossed in silver. I used the mr. & mrs. mix and match sentiments from This and That and some silver ribbon.

Inspiration Blog Hop: Day One (Triple Play Holiday & Vines and Butterflies)

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! This blog hop is for  our September Release!  Boy, do we have some treats for you this month!  We hope to inspire you with some eye candy as you hop along in the hop this month!  Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win an awesome grab bag of GKD goodies! !!   To see who won,  check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

Theresa's set includes some great sentiments, some adorable butterflies and this really awesome background vine!

this first card is on ocean mist card stock.  I shadow stamped with ocean mist ink and then stamped the butterflies with grey ink.  I used the 29 and forever from my set: This and That

This vine background is great for backgrounds and looks awesome embossed.  I embossed in in white on pink passion card stock. I paired it with some this and that sentiments. Would make a cute valentine!

Genevieve requested purple and pink for her best friend's birthday card. I used that awesome vine in versamark and the sentiment from Theresa's set!

Mel's set features some images and sentiments for fall and winter. I paired the diamond pattern with the cute little pumpkin. I stamped everything in black ink, but colored the pumpkin in with spectrum noir markers.

The next card uses a variety of inks with the leaves in the triple play holiday set. The leaves are starting to slowly turn here in NY! It's my favorite time of year!

A little ocean mist tied string and the sentiment makes for a quick clean and simple card!

I saw an ornament and added the sentiment from This and That in black.
