Gina K. Designs November 2018 New Release Blog Hop: Day One

Welcome to the Gina K. Designs November 2018 New Release Blog Hop! Today we are featuring two sets:
Reasons to Celebrate and Old Fashioned Christmas

The first set is by Gina and it features some adorable MINI images that have coordinating sentiments.  Might I even call them MICRO images. They are adorable.  Almost as adorable as new puppies.  I have had two friends get puppies this past month, so I used this release as an excuse to make a puppy card! This is an A2 card using innocent pink. The sentiment and paw prints are stamped in black! I colored the paws in light brown. The twine I used on the top reminded me of a chew rope!

The second card features the snow covered vintage car from Hannah's Old Fashioned Christmas set.  I stamped the image on a kraft A2 card base and colored with copic markers. I used poster paint for the snow because my gel pen dried up! (note to self, buy another white gel pen!)

What do you think of my samples? Leave a comment below, then stop by and see a few others by amazing designers! You will be in the running for a $50 gift certificate! Wahooo!  Buy a white gel pen!

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Hop

Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Hop with the Gina K. Designs Crew!  It was so exciting to get these stamps in the mail!

And while you are still reading - during today's hop, if you leave a comment on the blogs you are in the running for a $50 gift certificate from Simon Says Stamp!

Pssst.  Not only is there the Joy of the Season stamp set:
But there is this coordinating die!

I KNOW! Right?

So - I am in the midst of moving my craft room and had to pack up everything. Today I had to utilize the minimum and still come up with a creation!

I grabbed some Gina K. kraft paper and a smidge of white card stock.  I colored the background of the white with alcohol markers and then stamped the trees with Gina K. amalgam black ink.

The sentiment is stamped with the amalgam ink as well. Once I had mounted the main image to the card I added the snow with a white gel pen.

I don't know where you are, but here in Upstate NY, we just started school and it was in the 90s.  Way too hot for no AC for my kids! Yuck!  This card didn't cool me down either (although making it in the house with the AC blasting helped).

This makes me think of those cool mornings that will be upon us soon here in NY!

Close up view of the trees and snow.

Hope you liked my project. You can check out everyone else's creations if you hop along:

Gina K. Designs August Release Blog Hop: Day Two

Welcome to Day 2 of the Gina K. Designs August Release Blog Hop! WooHoo! Who is excited for more stamp sets? Today we are featuring Skeleton Leaves and Holiday Wreath Builder!

When I saw this stamp set, I squealed with delight! It reminded me of the stamp set that started my love of stamping!

Image may contain: text
This card uses an A2 Kraft base and I stamped the skeleton leaves in black and then used some copic markers to color them.  The sentiment POPS off the black with embossed white! Sentiment is from Dazzling Dahlia

Finally, I created this card with an ombre look using the rock and roll method. Taking a photo of this card proved to be challenging. There are double score lines on the base of the card above and below the sentiment. The skeleton leaf and the sentiment are stamped in sandy beach and then rolled in dark chocolate. This gave it an ombre look. I promise it looks better in real life!

Finally, here is an amazing new set for the holidays! Love that it includes the Star of David and Happy Hanukkah sentiment!  Pssst. I don't have the wreath builder (I guess I need to order one) - so I just have to use the images to make it work!

No automatic alt text available.

My card is a kraft A2 card with some white ink and a splash of red/black! Super clean and easy to replicate if you are producing in mass quantities for the holidays!

The $50 Gina K. Designs gift card is in play today too! So you do your thing by leaving some love on every blog on the list!

Gina K. Designs August Release Blog Hop: Day One

Welcome to Day One of Gina K. Designs August Release Blog Hop! Today we are sharing samples with Whimsical Wildflowers by Hannah Schroepfer as well as Thankful & Blessed by Emily Loggans!

Here is a look at Whimsical Wildflowers. It comes with coordinating dies (I KNOW! RIGHT?)

No automatic alt text available.

This clean and simple kraft card uses the pretty flower and the sentiment "Keep Going, Keep Growing".  I am going to pop this one in the mail to the girls at college! What a great inspirational message! I have my oldest two off in school now, so the house is pretty quiet!

Here is Thankful & Blessed! Isn't it just wonderful? I just love the beautiful fonts and sayings with Emily's set. I adore the way the sentiment fits so perfectly in the branches.

No automatic alt text available.

This card was made as a thank you to an inspirational speaker that came to talk with the swim team. Our team colors are green, so this was the perfect card. White A2 card base, Grass Green ink.

This one was stamped in black on an A2 Wild Lilac base. I added a few white accents in the branches with a gel pen. This clean and simple card is so easily replicated - what a great set to have on hand for quick cards!

Now that you have seen my samples, stop by and see a few others by these amazing designers! Did I mention the $50 Gina K. Designs gift card you could win.  Ya! That's a thing today (and tomorrow).

Gina K. Designs & ThermOWeb Autumn Stamp-n-Foil Release

Welcome to the Gina K. Designs & ThermOWeb Autumn Stamp-n-Foil Release!

Who is ready for Fall? I'm not - we just got back from our annual summer trip to the Outer Banks and the kids are already geared up for Fall Sports (which began yesterday). I guess that means it is time for pumpkin spice latte and some apple picking!

I was in a krafty mood this time around, so two of the cards are made with Kraft A2 bases. I love the way the leaves look on kraft, stamped with Gina K. Amalgam Jet Black ink and colored with copic markers.

This second card features the sunflower image stamped with Gina K. Amalgam Jet Black ink and colored with copic markers. It is on a 4.25 square card kraft base.  The Gina K. Gingham ribbon is looped through some small holes, punched on either side of the stem.

This final card is a foil card - using a tranquil teal A2 card base. I sponged the background in tranquil teal and jelly bean green inks and foiled with a gold sequin foil. The sentiment is stamped on Gina K. white card stock. The flower is sponged with tranquil teal ink and also foiled! I used a button with gold cord!

Trying this out: Here is a little clip of the foil in action - it is hard to see it in a photograph, but this little video show you how much the card shines!

I hope you enjoyed these samples!

If you haven't already, swing by all the designer's blogs and give them some love! You will be eligible for a $50 gift certificate - think of all the foil you can get with that!!

Gina K. Designs Hot Summer Release - Part 1: Day 2- Tropical Tidings, New Incentive (Inspiring Poppies)

Welcome to Day 2 of the Gina K. Designs Hot Summer Release (Part 1)

Today we are looking at Tropical Tidings and Inspiring Poppies (an incentive set)

No automatic alt text available.Image may contain: text

These poppies are super fun to color - I used spectrum noir markers on the kraft base. The sentiment is so beautiful!

Theresa's new set (Tropical Tidings) offers incredibly beautiful images with some wonderful sentiments. This card was stamped and embossed in white on slate. I colored in the butterflies (hard to see), but it gives them a little depth!

Be sure to leave comments on every blog so that you are eligible for the $50 gift card!

Gina K. Designs Hot Summer Release- Part 1: Day 1 (This Girl Is & Unicorn Wishes)

Welcome to Day One of Gina K. Designs Hot Summer Release (Part 1)!

Today we are featuring This Girl Is (by Melanie)and Unicorn Wishes (by me)

Image may contain: 1 person, textImage may contain: text

The card I created with Melanie's set features one of the small images from the set and a combination of these beautiful sentiments. I love the details - how Melanie used a small heart on the i in beautiful! I knew everyone would be showing the main image of the girl. I wanted to show how versatile sets can be when you utilize all the images in a set. I simply colored each flower with a spectrum noir marker and added a little white gel pen in the center of each flower.

This is the first set in a while that I didn't name after a family member. I really love the way this set is so fun to color! You can create unlimited combinations because these unicorns have manes and tails to color along with bodies and cute little feet.

Sophie was standing over my shoulder as I created this two minute card (last minute of course). The sun and rainbow were colored with spectrum noir and then I used glitter markers over the top to really make it sparkle!

This one is on an A2 passionate pink card base. I used the stitched oval die for the main image. I got inundated with graduation card requests - so this was my "out of the box" thinking for some of Victoria's friends!

Here is another graduation card - There are a few blue gems on the card to give it some glimmer and shine!

Sometimes I felt like I was coloring a "My Pretty Pony" unicorn.  This little unicorn is so plump and cute! Here it is on Ocean Mist.  The white ink was embossed to make it really pop off the black card stock.

Finally, this graduation card (school colors) features the stars and shooting star from the Unicorn Wishes set. I colored in each star with glitter pen. When I create a set I try and think of how I would use even the smallest stamp in the set!

If you haven't already, swing by all the blogs and give them some love! You will be eligible for a $50 gift certificate!

And a shout out to Todd, my love, on our 25th Anniversary (today)! Thanks for keeping it real and letting me do everything I do!
