June Inspiration Blog Hop: Day One (Fabulous Frames & Let's Talk)

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina, along with the Cast and Crew and Guest Designers, will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

First - my creations with Melanie's set - the butterflies with white ink are so incredible!
I also created this kraft card with green ink and filled in the wings with spectrum noir markers and a white pen.
This card combines both sets - the butterfly from Melanie's Fabulous Frames and the sentiment from Debbie's Let's Talk. A strip of the Ang & Me paper gives it some nice contrast and the butterfly is colored with a white pen.

Debbie's set was fun to play with too! This clean and simple card highlights the colors in the Ang & Me designer paper (which is awesome).
I love this card - it was so fun to make with the tomato soup, green and ocean mist colors!
This last one was made for Todd's co-worker's 50th birthday! It features the cupcake from my Keep Calm set, along with Debbie's Let's Talk and the 50 is from Lots of Dots Alphabet

First - you have to check out the other blogs - but promise you will stop by tomorrow to see all the samples I have with my set!

June Release Party Roundup

I hope everyone had fun last night at the release party at StampTV.  I had some issues getting to the party - so I am showing some of the sets (which are featured on StampTV) here today!

Apparently last night was cupcake night at the release party - so if you didn't get a chance to have a cupcake, you can drool over this one which my son had last night.  It's adorable, right? Cocoadots in Clifton Park, NY (*winner of cupcake wars).  Just looking at this makes me gain weight!

The first card which I created was with Melanie's fabulous frames.  I love that there are two sizes of butterflies to use in this set. I stamped them with Gina K. white ink and then used the sentiment with black ink.

This next card was SO simple.  I took the Ang & Me designer paper pack and cut 1.5 inch squares and layered it on the card base. The sentiment is from Keep Calm
For the sample with Debbie's Let's Talk set, I took a strip of paper from the Ang & Me designer paper pack and then layered a speech bubble on the side. Such a clean and simple card.

Yesterday, I posted more samples (one with Theresa's set and one with mine) - check them out!

Stop back Monday and Tuesday for a blog hop with some more great samples from this release!

My card is very clean and simple, with just a touch of bling

I used pink passion card stock and black ink.  This set allows for MASS production of cards because you can layer the stamps on a large block together if you wish to use one color of ink, like I did with this card:

you will be seeing a LOT of this color combo with this incredible patterned paper - tomato soup, ocean mist and black (or chocolate).  This one uses Theresa's Vertical Greetings 2 and Debbie's Let's Talk.

I will have plenty more samples with ALL the sets this evening on the blog hop! In the meantime, Hop on over to see what everyone else has in store!

Gina K. Designs: Here Comes The Sun Design Team Hop

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina, along with the Cast and Crew and Guest Designers, will inspire you with many
beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose ONE winner and the prize is a Grab Bag of fabulous Vintage Cuts and Shapes that match the Here Comes The Sun STV Kit plus some other
embellishments and goodies that match the kit!!!! To see the winner, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

There are an endless supply of ideas for creating with this kit!  I created a few more samples to share with you for today!
I have used this color combination before (sweet corn, ocean mist & wild lilac).  I had coordinating bakers twine in the lilac and ocean mist, but had to custom create the bakers twine in the sweet corn (see this post for the technique)

I saw the sun sentiment in the kit and decided to use the Sun from Weather or Not to create a clean and simple birthday card! Think about what stamps you have in your collection that would pair nicely with new sets and it makes your current collection even more valuable!  Dust off those old sets!!!

The new patterned paper is delightful and works with with the nautical themed cards! Wouldn't this be cute with pink and red stripes for Valentines day?

I made this card for the musical director at the elementary school. He puts so much time & effort into his job and the kids wanted to thank him with a card and a gift certificate to a local restaurant. I put one little sparkle gem inside the middle circle to give it a hint of bling.

Nautical themed cards are fabulous for so many themed events! Baby showers, weddings...They are also great masculine cards.  Here two simple strips of navy paper looks so crisp against the kraft background.  A hint of red pops too! Isn't this a great Father's day card?

Thank you for hopping by and checking out the cards which I created! Now hop on over to see what everyone else has in store:
