And if you are a fan of clean and simple cards - subscribe to the blog or check back each Monday morning for a clean and simple card using Gina k. supplies!

I had to make some sympathy cards, which is not my favorite thing to do - but with the clean sentiment and the beautiful flowers, it was super easy.  I love popping out the flowers, with and without the frame.
This first one with an ivory base uses moonlit fog and bubblegum inks. I used a little light pink spectrum noir marker on the edge to give it some additional color. I layered the flowers and topped them with a pink gem.

This card uses sweet corn base and ink.  I popped the center circle up and used moonlit fog ink for the sentiment. The rose was stamped with sweet corn ink on die cut white paper. The honey mustard was used for the second step in the two-step rose. I then went over the darker ink with a yellow sakura pen to give it some shimmer. The leaves stamped on white in moonlit fog ink.

CAS Monday: With Sympathy

Welcome to the first Clean & Simple Monday.  Everyone hates Mondays - so I thought that it would be something we can both look forward to: a new C&S card for you to view - and an outlet for me to create and share!  so grab a cuppa and kick up your feet!

Finding the right words when someone has suffered a loss can be so difficult.  This card is perfect to send to anyone going through a trying time.

The Gina K. kraft base is 4.25 x 5.5.  I stamped the large damask image from Delicate Damask with Gina K white ink. I let it dry a few minutes before stamping the sentiment (also from Delicate Damask) on top with black ink. The sentiment could easily be anything from the set! It is a 2 minute card which is so quick to replicate - but the clean look of the white on kraft is timeless!

Stop by next Monday for another card on Clean & Simple Monday!

Gina K. Designs April Inspiration Blog Hop: Out West 2 and Flowers Bloom

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina, along with the Cast and Crew and Guest Designers, will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

This super simple card features the horse images from Theresa's Out West 2 set.  I used the dotted image from Melanie's set between the image and sentiment.

This next card was fun to make for my dad for his birthday last week.  It reminds me of the Sedona area of Arizona!  I used copics to create the main image and stamped the cacti in dark chocolate.

Rupa's set features some great vases and floral bunch images, which can be used as backgrounds (like I did here with the leaf image and versamark on kraft). I paired it with a sentiment from Fabulous Fleur de lis (because, honestly, I didn't leave enough room for the sentiments from her set).  Sometimes you have to change things up!

I love the red, white and kraft combo with this card!

Shabby Spring StampTV Kit Blog Hop

Welcome to the Shabby Spring StampTV kit blog hop! Today the members of the Gina K. design team are sharing some samples created with the Shabby Spring Stamp TV Kit.

Here are the samples which I created with the kit!

This is oceans mist and white ink on oceans mist card stock. I randomly stamped images on the base and then stamped Happy Birthday from Lots of Lines in oceans mist on Gina K. white card stock. The prima flower in orange with the ocean mist button really provide a nice contrast.

The sentiment really makes this card so special! I love it.  A few sequins add the right touch of bling! I used a little strip of the striped paper on the side of the card and colored the umbrella with copic markers!

Finally, the one large bunch stamp set is great in Gina K. white ink on any color card base. Mix and match sentiments to create endless possibilities!

Gina K. Blog Hop: Introducing Stately Flowers 8, Lots of Washi

Today I am featuring this month's stamp sets which includes Melanie's Stately Flowers 8 and my Lots of Washi

The first card features the beautiful sentiment from Melanie's set.  I love this verse!  I stamped it in black, and then added a band using Lots Of Washi.
The iris is one of my favorite flowers. I stamped it it black and used a watercolor pen and Gina K. inks. The sentiment is also from her set.
This card features the conjoined circles and a sentiment from Stippled Nature. Super simple and clean.

This card features Lots of Dots & Lots of Washi. I stamped the dots and sentiment from Stately Flowers in grey ink and the conjoined circle layers in sweet corn. I used a button and some custom bakers twine on the ribbon.

This card features the sentiment from Lovely Ladybugs. The pink passion banner features a stamp from Lots of Washi.

To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Here is a peek at the kit!

I really enjoy playing with new stamps and bringing them into my craft room to see what I can create. The first card was created with the berry bunch using Gina K. using passionate pink. The sentiment from the same set is done in black ink. Super simple and clean.  I find myself using clean and simple layouts much more these days, how about you?

This next card was super simple too - using turquoise sea and grass green inks. Simple layout using a grass green card base with an offset layer of white.  A few sequins to kick the par-tay up a notch!

I already had the turquoise sea and grass green inks out on my desk, so I combined them with sweet corn and a hint of black (using the Gina K. gingham ribbon) to make this soothing card, which can be a sympathy card or a get well card.

finally, here is a cute little valentine which I made using the kit! The adorable birds look so cute sitting on that branch!  It was literally a 2 minute card. Kraft base, pink passion and dark chocolate inks. This would be so easy to create using the other sentiment for an anniversary!

Gina K. December Release: Vertical Greetings *and* It's the Little Things

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

I am starting by showing Becky's adorable It's The Little Things setThe first card is a 4.25 square card which I stamped with circles from Lots of Lines and small circles from Lots of Thanks. I stamped the sentiment and hedgehog from Becky's set in black in. Super simple!

If you have not heard the "What does the fox say?" song yet, you have probably been hiding under a rock (next to the fox).  This is just a fun card - sentiment is typed on computer

This is a card for my friend who had a baby girl last month!  The elephant is so fun to color in.

Theresa's Vertical Greetings combines some pretty images with some fun sentiments. I used the leaf bunch with a sentiment from Lots of Thanks to make this simple card.

This is a card I created using copics in various hues of blue. I stamped the poppies in white and colored in the edges with blue.

I have been seeing these crazy angle layer cards all over pinterest. Here is my version using Theresa's sentiment & dragonfly, along with dots from Lots of Dots.
