Gina K. Designs Blog Hop: Just a note!

Today is the last day of the Gina K. Designs blog hop for the month! What a fun release this has been.  Today we are featuring Just A Note by Rupa Shevde.

This first card is super easy to create, but what a great sentiment! I used innocent for the image and black for the sentiment. What a great card to send to a friend who might need a pick-me-up!

This next card uses the envelope from Just a note and the sentiment. I colored the envelope with copics.

This final card features the guitar from the set, along with the hexagon images from Lots of Washi, along with the 8 and rocks from Lots of Dots Alphabet.  Super fun card which I made for Debbie's daughter, Molly!

Gina K. Blog Hop: Signs of Spring & Folk Filigree

The first card features the sentiment from Theresa's set, along with a fun border using Lots of Washi. I used a few  black sequins to give the card some bling!

This next card was created using a white base and a dark sage element, stamped with white ink. The sentiment is also from Theresa's set and stamped with white ink. I used some microscopic pearls on some of the leaves and created some bakers twine.
Becky's stamp set is quite fun, so it is easy to create some adorable clean & simple cards.  Here is a card using the banner and sentiment from her set, along with some micro black gems.

This is a clean and simple valentine using Becky's set. You and Me are all separate sentiments in the set - as is the heart, which is stamped in cherry red. A little bakers twine at the top tied in a bow finished the card!
The wreath and elements are from Becky's Folk Filigree set, but the sentiment is from Melanie's set - how cute does that look with a little baker's twine on the bottom?

Gina K. Blog Hop: Introducing Stately Flowers 8, Lots of Washi

Today I am featuring this month's stamp sets which includes Melanie's Stately Flowers 8 and my Lots of Washi

The first card features the beautiful sentiment from Melanie's set.  I love this verse!  I stamped it in black, and then added a band using Lots Of Washi.
The iris is one of my favorite flowers. I stamped it it black and used a watercolor pen and Gina K. inks. The sentiment is also from her set.
This card features the conjoined circles and a sentiment from Stippled Nature. Super simple and clean.

This card features Lots of Dots & Lots of Washi. I stamped the dots and sentiment from Stately Flowers in grey ink and the conjoined circle layers in sweet corn. I used a button and some custom bakers twine on the ribbon.

This card features the sentiment from Lovely Ladybugs. The pink passion banner features a stamp from Lots of Washi.

I made this valentine with my new stamp set Lots of Washi.

I stamped the circle strip with versamark on the 2.5 x 3.5 artist trading card size piece of card stock.  I printed the sentiment on white card stock and added some hearts with Becky's new Folk Filigree set.

These are mini whoopee cushions - the perfect valentine gift for a

4th grade boy to give out to his classmates! A shout out to Heather Courtney who shared a Pinterest link about whoopee valentines! Thanks my crafty friend!

Here is a card which I created faux washi tape strips using Lots of Washi & Lots of Dots. The sentiment is from Signs of Spring by Theresa Momber. The frame is from Lots of Dots Alphabet. A few sequins adorn the card to give it some sparkle!

Finally, here is a card which I created with Lots Of Washi and Lots of ThanksIt uses custom bakers twine.  I made a video showing the process of creating this card.  Hope you like it!

Here is a peek at the kit!

I really enjoy playing with new stamps and bringing them into my craft room to see what I can create. The first card was created with the berry bunch using Gina K. using passionate pink. The sentiment from the same set is done in black ink. Super simple and clean.  I find myself using clean and simple layouts much more these days, how about you?

This next card was super simple too - using turquoise sea and grass green inks. Simple layout using a grass green card base with an offset layer of white.  A few sequins to kick the par-tay up a notch!

I already had the turquoise sea and grass green inks out on my desk, so I combined them with sweet corn and a hint of black (using the Gina K. gingham ribbon) to make this soothing card, which can be a sympathy card or a get well card.

finally, here is a cute little valentine which I made using the kit! The adorable birds look so cute sitting on that branch!  It was literally a 2 minute card. Kraft base, pink passion and dark chocolate inks. This would be so easy to create using the other sentiment for an anniversary!

Gina K December Release: Lots of Thanks *and* Celebration Diva

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! And as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops~

When I designed this set - I wanted something that would make for quick and easy cards. Something that you can reach for time & again to create unique, yet beautiful cards.

Here is my first card. The sentiment looks like money to me! Ha! That is why I stamped it in pine green!

A scrap of designer paper and a dressed up ribbon pair so nice with this sentiment. The possibilities are endless, don't you think? Kids may actually want to make their own cards! No fuss!

The small elements can combine for some simple cards! The fleur de lis is my daughter's favorite!  Pair it with Merci for a card that is très chic!

Sometimes you just need a card with no sentiment. The elements in this set allow your to combine pretty things to create classy cards!

Spice up your holiday gifts with a little Celebration Diva! This wine topper was simple to make and the Diva makes it perfect for that holiday party or New Years Eve celebration gift!

This clean and simple card is just the right thing to give for an anniversary!  Let's Celebrate sentiment paired with the adorable bottle with the heart...that will remind that special someone during the hustle and bustle of the season that you have to make some *couple* time!  Date night here we come!

I love the excitement and promise that the new year brings! Maybe a friend had a rough 2013 and needs a special note to know that you will be there for them in the coming year! The streamers and sentiment are from Celebration Diva and the 2014 is from Lots of Dots Alphabet!
